CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
TIM R. BOOKER
Founder, President & CEO
Tim R. Booker, Founder, President & CEO of MindFinders, has
over twelve years experience and is one of the top executives
in the country with the particular expertise in building staffing
solutions for professional search organizations.
Before
founding MindFinders, Mr. Booker was Regional Vice-President of
Consulting Services for Robert Half International (RHI) with responsibility
for start-up and development of the RHI Consulting Services Division
within the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. That Division included
the RHI Consulting, Management Resources, and The Creative Group
practices. During his tenure at RHI, Mr. Booker's responsibilities
increased to the management of 26 offices, with an operations
staff of over 125, a consulting staff of 700, and an excess of
$80 million in annual revenue.
Prior
to working for RHI, Mr. Booker was the Eastern Regional Vice-President
of Operations for Software Management Consultants, Inc. (SMCI),
a national IT firm. Under his leadership, SMCI established and
grew the Eastern Region to four offices and over $8 million in
revenue within 3 years.
After
graduating from college, Mr. Booker worked over six years for
IBM, holding various positions such as Project Manager, Senior
Consultant, Systems Analyst, and Programmer Analyst.
Mr.
Booker graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park
with a B.S in Computer Science. He is the recipient of the 2002
Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for the Robert H. Smith School
of Business, University of Maryland, and, in 2002, was appointed
by Governor Warner of Virginia to the Economic Development Strategic
Planning Council. He is also involved with the DC Chamber of Commerce,
National Society of Black Engineers, and is an Ambassador for
the City Club of Washington.
